Fund Raising and Philosophy. The Hillcrest 100 is totally independent of any control by elected officials and we have no political agenda. We don't have regular social outings or functions. Our goal is to create and maintain a fund that provides financial assistance to our First Responders. An annual fund raising event will be held to help maintain and grow our fund. Our intent is to operate under the radar but to always be there when we're needed. What about other charities and fraternal organizations that support our First Responders? The Hillcrest 100 does not overlap any other Fraternal Organization. In fact, the Fraternal Order of Police and Bluecoats Inc. have strongly encouraged the creation of the Hillcrest 100. We are in business to assist our First Responders if they face an unforeseen financial crisis or emergency. |
